Lil Two Rey is a 7 year old mare that is quiet enough to ride around bridleless yet talented enough to step up and be a competitive show horse. View a video of her doing both by clicking here.
This is a very solid mare that a beginner can learn to rein on with her solid stops and easy spins. Plus she has also been worked on cattle and taken on trail rides so she could easily make an outstanding ranch versatility horse!
With her gorgeous head and great conformation this mare could also be used as a broodmare to raise desirable babies. She is very stout and strong, has no vices and no soundness issues. She is a pleasure to be around and has outstanding ground manners. She is not a horse that needs to be kept with a trainer and a non pro could easily keep her at home to ride.

The Hot Express Dam: Miss Lynx Jewel Price:SOLDHi Cyndee,
Please mark the finished mare Hot Desert Sun as sold. I always have a lot of success with advertising on your site but this one tops them all. She got a wonderful home in West Virginia and I have already heard back that they are enjoying her immensly!! Thanks again, Shelli
This is an incredible opportunity for a beginner or short stirrup rider to own a gorgeous mare that will babysit them and teach them the ropes to riding and reining. "Jewels" earned nearly $2,500 in her limited show career and has been turned out for a while now to raise beautiful palomino and buckskin babies. The owner did not breed her this year because he is needing to downsize his numbers but she has an incredible palomino yearling filly by Topsail Whiz on the ground.
Click here to view a video of her riding. She has not worn a saddle in several years and we literally pulled her out of the pasture and shot this video, even pulling the bridle off to show how broke and quiet she is! She has no shoes on in the video but her slide stop is her biggest maneuver and she will slide for any rider. Jewels has great spins, easy lead changes, and carries her head naturally low and bridled.
She is sound with no vices. She has excellent ground manners and is a very loving horse. She would love to be a kid's best friend. She would also do great in performance halter classes with her awesome conformation and would make a great western all around horse for local competitions. It's hard to find a mare with a mind like hers and there are endless opportunities for a rider to build confidence and be competetive with her.
