It is with a heavy heart that we are offering Bo for sale. We are going to retire soon and are selling not only Bo, but a really impressive list of broodmares, some are own daughters of Docs Remedy, Boon Bar, Nu Cash, Brinks Royal Lee, etc. Some of these have produced some really impressive reiners. Bo has been a consistent producer of reiners, cutters, reined cow horse and outstanding versatile ranch horses. They have a lot of bone, good minds and a lot of substance. They all possess that border collie attitude on cattle as well. Bo was the 1996 reserve NCHA Pacific Coast Futurity Champion and placed in the finals of every show he went to. We retired him to stud in 1999. He is a very easy breeder. Have only artifically collected him and he has impeccable manners in the breeding shed. He produces enough volume to breed 10 to 20 plus mares in house with each collection. We have kept records of every collection for reference. He ships and freezes well also.
He is in the AQHA incentive fund and also the NRHA German futurity in Europe. A lot of his colts have been shipped to Europe and have done really well there. I have taken reining lessons with Jake under the instruction of Vicki Braun for 2 winters and he will sidepass spin and rollback with no problem currently working on his slide.
Jake would be an excellent beginner horse for your little future reiner or for any woman to do reining or working cowhorse with,has done 2 clinics with Roger Johnson and is cowy.
Jake is the same ridden every day or once a month. I have to many to ride ,too nice a horse not to be used
